Dog Walking

We offer a dog walking service in small groups (we will walk a maximum of 6 dogs with two dog walkers). Dogs will have a minimum of a one hour walk and will be on leash unless the owner specifically requests off lease exercise and we are happy that their recall is reliable enough for us to allow them off leash. We will ensure your dog is well exercised regardless of being on or off leash, we just aim to ensure the exercise is suitable and safe for them. We would prefer younger dogs are walked on harness if possible as we feel this is more secure for the dog and avoids unnecessary straining on their neck. We are fully insured with Pet Plan, police checked through Disclosure Scotland and have completed dog behaviour training and first aid courses. While your dogs are in our care they will be constantly supervised. We will collect your dog in a specially fitted vehicle for their safety and comfort. As we always walk in pairs, your dogs will never be left alone in the car as we collect our other guests for the day. Travel time is not included in the minimum one hour of exercise. We also continue basic behaviour training and enrich your dog’s day using scent work and socialisation. We will be regularly sharing updates and images of your dog’s day, dogs will be towel dried before returning home and we will ensure water bowls are refreshed and refilled prior to leaving your dog. All dogs will be left with a stuffed Kong (we will ensure to take into account any allergies), we will collect the Kong again each day ready to be refilled after their next walk.

Playcare

Full hour walks or intense day care options may not be suitable for every dog especially while they are under the age of one and their joints are still forming. However it is important that they are well socialised and not left alone for prolonged periods of time. We aim to offer to help by providing our home Playcare service. We can pick up and drop off pooches and they will come for their playcare in our home with a fully enclosed garden and have two short walks as well as socialising with a small number of other dogs.

Comfort Visits

We offer house visits for dogs who may need medication, feeding or a short toilet stop during the day. This may be suitable for senior dogs who want to take life at their own pace or dogs who are recuperating after an operation or illness. We can discuss medication requirements and will keep medication records held at your house to ensure you know what time medication was administered. Company and cuddles are included. This option is also available for dogs of all ages and abilities if owner’s would rather their dog had someone checking in on them during the day in the comfort of their own home.
